1.) Pick a date and time in my calendar so we can chat on the phone! I'd love to hear all about where you envision your final artwork hanging and want to learn more about how my pieces can fit in with your home decor. We'll also set a date to meet in person so you can see and touch all my beautiful sample frames and albums
3.) Fill out and return your booking agreement and the family questionnaire. You're now officially booked for a Photography by Kat Portraiture Session.
4.) Your Portrait Session! The big day is here. Whether you’ve chosen a documentary or more traditional photographic session, this is where we capture all your family’s awesomeness. Really there's not much for you to do except relax and have fun with your family. I get to do all the work today! At the end of your portrait session we'll schedule your In Person Reveal date where you'll get to see all your fantastic images from today.
5.) After your session is complete I will: •Backup your session on external hard drives;
•Edit your photos (no trendy filters EVER);
•Write a blog post sharing one sneak peek from your session;
•Call you up to remind you about the date for your In Person Reveal.
6.) The In Person Reveal takes place 2-3 weeks later. This 1.5 hour session is where you’ll see all your pictures and make decisions about which artwork you’d like on your walls as framed prints, canvas gallery wraps, holiday cards and more and which you'd like in your album. This is the only chance you'll have to make orders, as such it's very important that all key decision makers are at this reveal. A $700 order minimum is strictly enforced and payment can be made via Cash, Interac Transfer or Credit Card. Payment plans are available.
2.) The Pre-Session Consultation happens in your own home and we'll go over in person where the artwork will hang. I'll take pictures of your walls and then we can figure out together which artwork options are best for your home. We’ll also discuss what everyone will wear. During this 1-hour consultation the $150.00 Non-Refundable Session Deposit is due and can be paid via Cash, Interac Transfer or Credit Card.
